This summer from July 14th through July 23rd, Brighton Collectibles located in Woodbridge, New Jersey, had their annual handbags trade in event to benefit Dress for Success Hudson County for the first time. For 17 years, Brighton has collected gently used handbags to distribute through local charities to help women in need throughout the U.S. In 2016, 14,863 handbags were collected and donated.
For the launch of this fantastic event Program Coordinator, Kency Desmangles made a personal trip to Woodbridge, New Jersey. Ecstatic to have been invited, she met with sales person Samone, who was more than happy to give her a tour of the beautiful store. She learned the Brighton brand was founded in 1991 by Jerry and Terri Kohl, with a single collection of belts. Their vision was simple: to create a different kind of company that would be built from the heart, and where customers and employees alike would be treated the way they love to be treated. Years later, the collection eventually grew to be an extensive line of stylish products and accessories for women everywhere.
For the great effort, we would like to extend a huge thank you in advance to Brighton Collectibles for thinking of us and the clients we serve. For more details on this awesome event, please visit Brighton’s website at Brighton.com.
